Sajeda E Bulbul, the younger daughter of Anis Hawladaer of Patuakhali’s Sadar Uapzila, was married to Saju, son of Sohrab Fakir of the district’s Mirazagaonj Upazila, on Apr 24, 2004.Relatives of a woman, whose severed body parts were recovered from luggage bags in Kuala Lumpur, have accused the husband of killing her.
The Malaysian police recovered the body of Sajeda E Bulbul (passport no BA0732570) cut up into several parts in two bags at the Jalan Ipoh Bridge along Sungai Gombak River near the Putra World Trade Centre on Jul 5.
Police recovered hands, feet and a head from a luggage and a torso from another one.
The body parts were wrapped in two layers of black plastic bags and one layer of bedsheet in two bags situated 20.6 metres apart.

Speaking to local media, Kuala Lumpur police chief Mazlan Lazim said they have recovered a pendant inscribed with the word ‘Allah’, a necklace among the dismembered body parts and a key in the bag containing the victim’s head.
Citing the post-mortem report, the police official said that the victim had died from a slash to the throat believed to be by a sharp and heavy weapon.

Police have also obtained fingerprints from a layer of skin from the victim's palm and fingers for identification purposes, he informed.
Mazlan said police would also obtain closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from premises near the area for further investigation.
Family members, however, accused the victim’s husband Shahajada Saju for the murder saying he tried to dump the body into the river after killing her wife.

On Dec 3, 2016, Saju took her wife to Malaysia for higher studies.
Speaking to Bangla Tribune, the victim’s sister Upama Farhan said, “Saju and his family tortured Sajeda since her marriage.”
Saju took the drug regularly and beat Sajeda every day. He wanted to hide the body but luckily her body was recovered.” Upama said.
“My sister has a seven-year-old daughter but we are not getting any information on her whereabouts.
‘”We want justice,” Upama said seeking the government assistance to bring back the body as well as the little girl home.
The Malaysian police are now hunting for Saju. Meantime, his family members here in Patuakhali also went hiding, she said.
