Criticizing senior BNP leader barrister Moudud Ahmed’s role during his term as a law minister, Agriculture Minister Muhammad Abdur Razzaque said Moudud Ahmed is a sycophant.
“The then law minister Barrister Moudud didn’t take any initiatives to book the killers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He is a sycophant,” said the minister while exchanging Eid greetings with officials and staff at the Agriculture Ministry on Sunday (Aug 18).
“The country lags behind time and time again for these kinds of sycophant,” he said.
He said, “After the death of Bangabandhu, the nation was ruled under military powers till 1996. When BNP comes into power, they served the purpose of the killers of 1975 and the defeated quarter of 1971.”
“BNP founder is directly involved in the assassination of Bangabandhu,” he observed.
