A road crash on the Mymensingh-Tangail highway has left three people, including a woman killed.
The head-on collision between a car and an autorickshaw at Mymensingh’s Muktagacha Wednesday morning has left three others injured, said police. All of the victims were passengers of the three-wheeler vehicle.
Muktagacha police OC Ali Ahmed Molla told Bangla Tribune that the woman killed in the crash has been identified as 45-year-old Romeza Khatun. The identities of the other victims are yet to be known.
“Around 7am, the Muktagacha-bound autorickshaw collided head-on with a microbus, when three passengers of it died on the spot,” he said before adding that the car has been seized but the driver managed to flee.
