The government holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr start on Jun 4 which is a Monday. May 31 and Jun 1 is the weekend while Jun 2 (Sunday) is the holiday for Shab-e-Qadr.
Regardless of whether the month of Ramadan will be 29 days or 30, holidays will start on Jun 4.
If Eid falls on Jun 5, holiday will be till Jun 6 (Thursday) and if it falls on Jun 6, the holiday will end on Jun 7 (Friday).
Either ways, there is a weekend at the end of Eid and if they can manage a leave for Jun 3, they can bag a nine-day holiday.
The public administration ministry has already sent a proposal to the prime minister for a decision on whether Jun 3 can be declared a holiday.
