Eight ranking police officers transferred

The Public Security Division of the ministry published a gazette on Monday (May 20) regarding the changes in posts.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Md Abdullah Baqi who reported to the police headquarters has been posted at the Sharada Police Academy in Rajshahi.
Barishal Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner Mahfuzur Rahman has been has now been posted as the Rapid Action Battalion in Dhaka as a director.
Additional Inspector General of the headquarters Md Moniruzzaman has been transferred to the Anti-Terrorism Unit.
Md Haidar Ali, who was the additional DIG of the Anti Terrorism Unit, has been posted to the headquarters.
Superintendant Md Mushfequr Rahman of the highway police in Dhaka has been given the office of the superintendent of the Special Branch in Dhaka.
Syed Mushfiqur Rahman, who was the chief of Dhaka 13 Armed Police Battalion (APBN), has been made the chief of Dhaka-8 APBN.
Likewise, chief of Dhaka-8 APBN Md Rashidul Islam Khan has been given the office of Dhaka-13 APBN chief.
