The Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) Vice-President-elect Nurul Haque Nur will formally accept the duties of his position on Saturday (Mar 23).

“After a long 28 years later, the DUCSU election took place,” said Hassan Al Mamun, convener of Bangladesh General Students’ Rights Protection Council (BGSRPC) at a media briefing held at Madhur Canteen in Dhaka University at 3:30pm on Friday (Mar 22).

“We have decided to accept the duties formally to respect the general student’s mandate,” he added.

“Social Service Secretary-elect Akhter Hossain will also accept his duties,” added Mamun.

Several members of BGSRPC were present at the media briefing.
