The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has so far collected the DNA of 32 people to identify the charred remains of the Chawbazar fire victims.The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has so far collected the DNA of 32 people to identify the charred remains of the Chawbazar fire victims.
“So far nineteen people have been identified and the DNA of 32 has been collected,” CID Assistant DNA Analyst Nusrat Yasmin told the media on Saturday (Feb 23).
Yasmin has called on those who are yet to find their relatives to come to the CID camp in front of Dhaka Medical College camp to provide their DNA samples.
She said that the lab has already started working on the samples and the process might take anywhere between a week to a month.
