Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will go to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Saturday (Feb 22) to see the burn victims of Chawkbazar fire that killed nearly 70 people and injured dozens.
The PM is scheduled to go the hospital’s burn unit at around 10pm, sources at PM’ Press Wing told Bangla Tribune.
On Wednesday (Feb 21) night, a fast-moving fire ripped through several buildings at Old Dhaka’s Chawkbazar leaving the causality.
As many 37 fire-fighting units worked for 15 hours to douse the flames before the fire burnt the buildings to ashes.
