President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina extended their heartiest congratulations to Bangladesh cricket team for winning the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against the visiting West Indies.
The Tigers routed the Caribbeans by eight wickets at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Friday (Dec 14) to clinch the three-match ODI series 2-1.
In a congratulatory message, the President greeted all the players, coach and officials concerned of the national team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for achieving victory over West Indies.
“This winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team and other concerned will continue in the days to come,” the head of the state hoped.
