The Tigers routed the Caribbeans by eight wickets at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Friday (Dec 14) to clinch the three-match ODI series 2-1.
In a congratulatory message, the President greeted all the players, coach and officials concerned of the national team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for achieving victory over West Indies.
“This winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team and other concerned will continue in the days to come,” the head of the state hoped.
In a felicitation message, the cricket-lover prime minister greeted all the players, coach and officials of the national cricket team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for winning the ODI series against West Indies.
Sheikh Hasina said that this success is the outcome of proper patronization and support to the game by the present government.
She expressed the hope that the winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team would continue in future.
