Martyred intellectuals’ children for no anti-liberation forces in power

With only weeks left for the 11th Parliamentary Election, the children of martyred intellectuals have urged people to not to vote for anti-liberation forces.
“We don’t want to see any anti-liberation forces, collaborators and their descendants in the state power, we want the pro-liberation forces in power, they said at a human chain on Friday (Dec 14).
Projonmo '71, an organisation of children of martyrs of the Liberation War, organised the programme at city’s Rayer Bazar Monument marking the Martyred Intellectuals Day.
Speaking at the programme, Towheed Reza Nur, younger son of martyred journalist Sirajuddin Hossain, “As the national election draws near, we urge the citizen of the country not to lend their support to the anti-liberation quarters and people who shelter them.
Nur urged the youths to boycott the anti-liberation quarters saying, “Vote for pro-liberation forces.”
Asif Munier, the younger son of martyred intellectual Munier Chowdhury, said, “Martyred intellectuals’ friends, who are alive, should step forward to let the young generations know more about the true history of the Liberation War.
“We won’t compromise with the anti-liberation forces,” he said.
Dr Nuzhat Choudhury, daughter of martyred Dr AFM Abdul Alim Choudhury, called people from all walks of life to reject the no anti-liberation forces and their descendants in the upcoming polls.
“We have to uproot anti-liberation forces’ ill-politics to build a country in line with our visions in the War of Independence,” she said.
