Demonstrations outside the Viqarunnisa Noon School and College demanding justice for the schoolgirl who killed herself after authorities insulted the parents and her.The High Court has described the incident of a 15-year-old schoolgirl killing herself after the principal allegedly insulted her and the parents over cheating in an exam.
It also said that the insulting the parents in front of their child by the school authorities was a deplorable instance.

The death sparked fury among students and guardians, who have been demonstrating outside the school premises since Tuesday (Dec 4) morning.
The observation by the HC bench of Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Justice Razik-Al-Jalil came when lawyer Syed Sayedul Haque Sumon brought its attention to media reports on the incident.
“We seek the court’s order on this issue,” Sumon told the court.
The judges told the lawyer to file a petition attaching the media reports and said that they would address the matter.

The family of the 15-year-old girl claimed she killed herself suicide after the principal insulted her and the parents of because she had cheated in an exam.
Principal Nazneen Ferdous, however, refutes the allegation of insulting the parents.
Aritree was barred from an exam on Sunday after she was found to be cheating by using a mobile phone, she said on Monday. “We called her parents only to inform them about the incident. They were not insulted.”
The suicide sparked fury among students and guardians and turned the spotlight on the controversial handling of students by one of the top schools in Bangladesh.

Soon after, the education ministry said it opened a separate inquiry.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday in front of the school where protests by students and parents erupted, Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said, “The ministry has taken the matter seriously. That’s why we are here.”
He said they have formed a probe panel, which has been told to file a report by three working days. “We will take actions after the probe report is available. We had initiated measures over any irregularity previously.
