PSC, Ebtedayee exams begin

Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations-2018 will continue till November 26.Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations 2018 have begun across Bangladesh on Sunday (Nov 18).

The exams began around 10:30am and will continue till 1pm.

As many as 2,777,270 and 317,853 examinees are appearing for PSC and Ebtedayee examinations this year, BSS reports.

Among the PSC examinees, 1,278,742 are male and 1,498,528 are female; among the Ebtedayee examinees, 166,814 candidates are male and 151,039 are female. 

This year, both examinations will be held in 7,410 centres across the country and will continue till November 26.

A total of 3,294 differently-abled examinees, including 231 Ebtedayee students will appear for the examinations.

The authorities concerned have taken adequate security measures along with maximum protection against question paper leakage.

Special initiatives have also been taken for the smooth distribution of question papers to the 204 examination centres located in remote areas.
