Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has performed the holy Umrah on Thursday (Oct 18) night before wrapping up her four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.

She also offered prayers seeking divine blessings for the people of Bangladesh as well as continued peace, progress and prosperity of the entire Muslim Ummah, reports BSS.

PM’s Private Sector Development Affairs Adviser Salman F Rahman and other entourage members of the prime minister also performed Umrah.

The premier reached Saudi Arabia on Tuesday at the invitation of Saudi King and the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

On Wednesday, She offered ziarat of Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Masjid-e Nabawbi in the holy city of Madinah before reaching the holy city of Makkah about 5:45 pm local time on Wednesday.

The prime minister is scheduled to return home tonight.
