House panel for creating one more ADC, AC posts

BANGLATRIBUNE/Sazzad HossainThe parliamentary standing committee on the Ministry of Public Administration (MoPA) has suggested for creating one more post of additional deputy commissioner (ADC) in each district and one more assistant commissioner (AC) post at upazila administration to accelerate the administrative activities of the government.
The committee in its 33th meeting put emphasis on immediate appointment of the officers and employees against all vacant posts in each district to expedite administrative activities, said an official release on Thursday (Oct 11).
Held in the parliament complex with its chairman HN Ashiqur Rahman in the chair, the meeting also suggested all departments, directorates and agencies of different ministries to remain alert in giving deputation.
The JS body also discussed different activities of concerned institutions and reviewed the progress of the decisions taken in the last meeting.
Committee members – state minister for public administration ministry Ismat Ara Sadek, R A M Ubaidul Muktadir Chowdhury, Mohammad Abdullah, Mustafa Lutfullah, Khorshed Ara Haque and Joya Sengupta and senior officials of the concerned ministry and parliament secretariat, among others, were present in the meeting.
