Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi have exchanged greetings on the occasion of their birthdays.
The premiers exchanged birthday wishes when they jointly inaugurated two cross-border railway lines and another cross-border oil pipeline through a video conference on Tuesday (Sept 18).
PM Hasina joined the joined the event from her Ganobhaban official residence in the city while Indian premier Modi joined from his office in Delhi.
Modi celebrated his birthday on Monday (Sept 17) while PM Hasina will celebrate hers on Sept 28.
Modi greeted Hasina an advance birthday wish.
