The ministries of industries, agriculture, youth and sports and finance got new secretaries or acting secretaries, according to a government circular issued on Sunday.
Youth and Sports Secretary Md Asadul Islam has been shifted to the Financial Institutions Division under the Finance Ministry, while Director General of Governance Innovation Unit (GIU) of Prime Minister’s Office Md Abdul Halim was transferred as acting secretary to the Industries Ministry.
Industries Secretary Muhammad Abdullah has been transferred to the Youth and Sports Ministry and Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) Chairman (Additional Secretary) Md Nasiruzzaman was made acting secretary to the Agriculture Ministry.
