Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given financial assistance of Tk 3.5 million to renowned film actor Ahmad Sharif for the treatment of ailing Ahmad Sharif and his wife.
Ahmad Sharif, former president of Chalachchitra Shilpi Samity, received the cheque from Hasina at her office on Thursday (Apr 18)
The film actor, on her own behalf and the family, expressed gratitude to the prime minister for the donation.
