Award-winning cinematographer Anwar Hossain found dead

Police recovered his body from a room in ‘Hotel Olio Dream Heaven’ on Saturday (Dec 1), Assistant Sub-Inspector of Sher-e-Bangla police Topon told Bangla Tribune.
“Hotel authorities informed us when room service took up his breakfast but he didn’t respond,” Topon said.
“We found him dead on the bed when we broke down the door,” he added.
Topon said that Anwar’s body has been sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital for autopsy and his family has been informed.
Anwar who was living in France with his family checked into the hotel on Nov 28.
He returned to the country in order to judge a photography competition organized by Phoenix Photography Association.
