Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to tie the knot next week at Lake Como in Italy. And early Saturday morning the couple - twinning in white and holding hands - were spotted at the Mumbai airport as they left for the European destination, reports IANS.
The couple’s wedding is reportedly a two-day affair starting in Nov 14.
Singh and Padukone, who began dating in 2013 while sharing screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ramleela’, arrived at the airport separately. While Singh wore a white Bandhgala jacket and coupled it with drop-crotch pants, Padukone wore a stunning white turtleneck top with side slit skirt.
Rumours suggest that the couple will be hosting a reception in Bengaluru on Nov 21, followed by a Mumbai bash for their industry friends and colleagues on Dec 1.
The pre-wedding rituals for Padukone began with a Nandi Puja at her Bengaluru residence. Two days later, Singh, too, hosted a haldi party at his Mumbai home.
The ‘Bajirao Mastaani’ actors had confirmed the wedding on Oct 21 with a social media update. However, they did not reveal details about the venue. If rumours are to be believed, the couple will be getting married at Lake Como in Italy. Lake Como has also played host to the Ambanis for Isha’s engagement to Anand Piramal. Last year, Team India skipper Virat Kohli exchanged vows with actress Anushka Sharma at the same address.
