UN agency staffer’s body found in Cox’s Bazar hotel

Representational imagePolice recovered a body of an official of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the UN agency focused on migration, from a hotel on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Tauhidul Alam,25.
He had been working in the health department of the organization.
The OC of Cox’s Bazar Model Police Station Md Farid Uddin Khondakar said police found the body from Hotel Holy Day around 10pm and sent it to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
“Tauhidul might have died of stroke”, he said.
Md Alamgir, another IOM health official, claimed the death of Tauhidul may not be natural, it’s mysterious.
