A Chinese worker has been stabbed to death by his Chinese colleague at the Payra Power Plant in Patuakhali.
The incident was reported late on Saturday (Nov 16), said police.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Liu June, said local Kalapara police OC Monirul Islam.
"We have arrested the accused, Song Xiang, 30” before adding, “The body has been sent to Patuakhali Hospital for autopsy."
A case will soon be filed on this matter, said the police officer OC.
The local Kalapara Upazila administration chief (UNO) Munibur Rahman said: "The two Chinese workers had a fight over noodles when one of them stabbed the other."
