Vessel movement at the country’s premier maritime port resumed in full swing after the Met office asked Chattogram port to hoist local cautionary signal number 3 from great danger signal number nine at 10:00 am on Sunday (Nov 10).

Omar Faruk, Secretary to Chittagong Port Authority confirmed the matter to Bangla Tribune.

Earlier on Saturday morning, every vessel anchored at the jetties of the port were sent to the outer anchorage, as a precautionary measure.
