Robbers in Narayanganj killed two security guards during a robbery of three battery stores at Bandar Upazila early Saturday.
The two were killed at a market in the Lakhankhola area, said Bandar Police OC AKM Shaheen Mondol.

The victims have been identified as Raihan, 50, and Mottaleb, 55.
“The robbers battered them in the head with bricks,” OC Shaheen said, citing locals.
“Raihan was declared dead by the doctors after being taken to the Bandar Upazila Health Complex and Mottaleb was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.”
The robbers looted goods worth of Tk 5 million from the three broke stores, the OC said.
Police are working to arrest the robbers and recover the stolen items, he added.
