Police have recovered an unidentified youth near Bangladesh-India border area in Cumilla’s Sadar Upazila.
The body has been recovered on Sunday (Oct 20) evening, said police.
Locals said a body of youth has been recovered from a bush near the Indian border. It was in the upazila’s Rajeshpur Mohishmara area.
There were several injury marks on the body of the victim.
Sadar South police inspector Amal Krishna Dhar said, “Locals spotted the body and informed police.”
“The identity of the deceased could not be known yet,” said Inspector Dhar before adding, “The cause of death can be known after autopsy.”
