Three members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and their two female informants were picked up by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) from the frontier in Cumilla, say police.

The incident was reported on Thursday (Oct 10) morning near the Ashabari border in the southeastern district’s Brahmanpara Upazila.   

Confirming the incident, Shahjahan Ali, officer-in-charge (OC) of Brahmanpara Police Station, said RAB members with their two women sources crossed the border line mistakenly while going to raid a house.

When they crossed the border line as that was not clearly marked, BSF troops detained them , said the local police chief.
