Police have arrested three people and seized Tk 12.5 million from a house in Narayanganj.
House owner Jamal Hossain, 40, and his associates Mostafa Kamal and Manik Miah were detained in the drive conducted in Rasulpur area under Rupganj upazila early on Wednesday (Oct 2).
Narayanganj Detective Branch (DB) of Police Sub Inspector Mizanur Rahman said: “A total of Tk 10 million was recovered from the trunk and Tk 2.5 million was recovered from a cabinet.”
“We also found 2,000 yaba tablets pills from the house,” the SI added.
