GK Shamim, who had claimed himself a leader of ruling party affiliate Jubo League and was arrested with arms huge amount of money in Dhaka, is created by BNP, says Local Government Minister Tajul Islam.
‘You [Shamim] won’t be spared despite your claim to affiliation with Jubo League,” he said while addressing a programme organised by local Awami League unit in Cumilla’s Laksam on Saturday (Sept 21).
Tajul said that ongoing drives against Jubo League rogue leaders would be conducted at district and upazilas across Bangladesh.
“No lobbying will be considered. The government won’t compromise with the evildoers,” the minister said.
“Corruption will be eradicated from Bangladesh,” said Tajul before blaming BNP as the political party turned the country into a reign of terror and anarchy and seed the corruption.
