Road crashes kills six in three districts

The accidents were reported place in Bagerhat, Munshiganj and Bogra districts.
In Bagerhat, three people were killed and another was injured when a stone-laden truck hit a parked truck at Bottola in Rampal upazila.
The accident took place in front of the Rampal power plant around 2:30pm on Tuesday.
One of the deceased was identified as truck driver Yasin Hossain Answari, 24, from Patkelghata upazila in Satkhira district.
Confirming the incident, Rampal police OC Tuhin Haoladar said: "The stationary truck had abruptly stopped near the road of Rampal power plant when the stone-laden truck hit it from behind, leaving three people dead at the scene."
Two units of Bagerhat Fire Service recovered the bodies, and sent them to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) morgue for autopsy, he added.
Police also rescued one injured person and took him to KMCH for treatment, OC Tuhin said.
In Munshiganj, two people were killed and 10 others injured when a Chittagong-bound bus lost control and hit a covered van on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident took place on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway, confirmed Bhoberchor highway police outpost officer Md Kabir Hossain.
He said: "The bus climbed over a (road) island when the driver lost control. Then it collided with a van on the other side of the road and killed two people on the spot."
The victims could not be identified immediately.
Police, meanwhile, rescued the injured, five of them in critical condition, and took them to Gazaria upazila health complex.
In Bogra, a motorcycle trader was killed when a Dhaka-bound bus hit him on his way to work.
The accident occurred on the Bogra-Naoga road near Dupchachia bus stand around 11am on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahim, 55, of Kahalu upazila.
Confirming the matter, Dupchachia police station Officer-in-Charge Mizanur Rahman said: "Abdur was on his motorcycle when a Fateh Ali bus hit him, killing him instantly."
Police recovered his body. However, the bus involved could not be traced till the filing of this report, said OC Mizanur.
