Two pedestrians were killed in a road crash in Bogarbazar area of Trishal of Mymensingh on early Monday (Sept 9).
The deceased were identified as Alauddin Mia, 70, and Fazlu Mia, 50, both were residents of Narayanpur village of Mymensingh.
Confirming the accident, officer-in-charge (OC) of Trishal police station Md Azizur Rahman said a Mymensingh-bound truck hit them(pedestrians) in the morning while overtaking another truck, leaving them dead on the spot.
The dead bodies were recovered and sent to the same hospital for autopsy, the OC said.
