Two people have been killed and three injured after a covered-van crashed into a microbus at Cumilla.
The accident was reported from the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Debidar Upazila on Tuesday (Aug 20) morning, confirmed Highway Police outpost in charge Monirul Islam.
He said that the deceased are yet to be identified.
“Two people including the microbus driver were killed after a covered-van hit the car at the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway’s Kurchap area,” he added.
Islam said that the three people who were injured have been sent to the hospital but no one has been identified yet and police have recovered the microbus from the scene.
