Two people have been killed as a good-laden truck plunged into a roadside ditch in Mymensingh.
The incident was reported from Lera Bazar area of the district’s Muktagacha Upazila around 6:30am on Wednesday (Jun 26), police said.
Details of the deceased were immediately unavailable.
Muktagacha police OC Md Ali Mahmud said the accident took place when the truck driver lost control over its steering killing the driver and his assistant on the spot.
Fire service personnel recovered the bodied those would be sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he added.
