Clash between Brazil, Argentina fans leave 10 injured in B’baria

The incident was reported from a village in Nasirnagar Upazila Saturday afternoon, said police.
“We have deployed forces in the area, but any complaint is yet to be filed,” said Nasirnagar OC Md Abu Zafar.
Police said one Khokon Mia, a Brazil football fan, got into an argument with Argentina supporter Hamid Khan on Friday after Argentina was defeated by Croatia 3-0.
Later, their families intervened and solved the matter.
However, on Saturday, Khokon’s supporters allegedly attacked Hamid in the afternoon when the clash erupted, leaving at least ten people injured.
Seven people have been taken to the state-run hospital in Nasirnagar town, before transferring one of them to the Brahmanbaria hospital in critical condition.
