Three UPDF members arrested in Rangamati

The accused Nenson Chakma, Ananta Chakma, and Nayan Chakma, all from Naniarchar, were arrested on Saturday.
Law enforcement agencies said that they have also confiscated a motorcycle, two mobile phones, Tk 5,145, and receipt of extortion money from the offenders.
According to sources of the joint force, acting on a tip-off, they conducted a drive at Ghilachori area of the upazila, and arrested the accused. Based on information after primary investigation, a locally made weapon was recovered from Vangamora area.
Naniarchar police station OC Kabir Hossain confirmed that the accused, and the confiscated items were handed over to the police station.
