A man and his two children have been found dead in Narsingdi’s Raipura Upazila.
Police said they suspect 35-year-old Kajal Mollah hanged himself after drowning his 7-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter in a pond sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Raipura police OC Delwar Hossain said that Kajal’s body was found hanging from a tree while the children’s bodies were recovered from a pond in Tulatuli village on Friday morning.


Kajal had paid several hundred thousands of takas to one Ruhul Amin for going abroad as a worker, but it did not work out.





“He moved the court to get back the money and the verdict, which was announced on Thursday, was not in his favour,” said OC Hossain.
Kajal’s brother Shamsu Mollah said he came to visit them at Tulatuli with his son and daughter on Thursday afternoon and left for his in-law’s place in the evening.
“Local spotted the children’s bodies and Kajal’s body hanging from the tree in the morning,” he told Bangla Tribune.

The bodies have been taken to the state-run hospital in Narsingdi town.
