Teenage delinquents cut off the hair of a college girl in Bhola’s Char Fashion.
The girl in question, a student of the upazila’s Fatema Matin College, lodged a case on wednesday (May 22) at the Char Fashion police station.
The victim and her family said that the errant act was carried out on May 16 around 3:30 am when the girl was asleep with her window open.
The girl has mentioned the name of three teenagers, Sagar, Mithun and Ratan, who are friends and used to taunt her on her way to college and disturb her on the phone.
When the matter was informed to the families of the young men, they were infuriated and cut off the girl’s hair.
The accused are absconding; OC of Char Fashion, Samsul Arefin, says: “The police has formed several teams to apprehend the culprits.”
