Nusrat murder: Accused Abdul Quader held

Abul Quader ManikThe Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested another accused in the murder case of madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi.
Twenty-five-year-old Hafez Abdul Quader Manik was detained in the capital's Mirpur area in the early hours on Thursday (Apr 18).
“So far, PBI has arrested eight people accused in the Nusrat murder case including Quader," PBI Inspector Md Shah Alam told Bangla Tribune, 
“Ten more have been arrested as suspects and have been kept at Feni prison. Among them, Shamim and Nur Uddin gave the confessional statements,” said Alam.
Nusrat, who was an Alim examinee, suffered 80 percent burn injuries when she was set on fire by four burqa-clad assailants on the roof of Shonagazi Islamia Fazil Madrasa on Apr 6.
She was attacked for refusing to withdraw a sexual assault case against madrasa principal Siraj-ud-Daula.
After she was set on fire, her family filed another case against eight people including Siraj ud daula on Apr 8.
The 19-year-old girl died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Apr 10.
