Radial group Hefazat-e-Islam chief Shah Ahmed Shafi has demanded the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, known as Qadianis, be declared as non-Muslims, immediately.
“Ahmadiyyas don’t follow our last Prophet. So they are non-believers… We request Sheikh Hasina’s government to declare Ahmadiyyas as non-Muslim,” said the Islamic hardliner at a programme in the northern district of Panchagarh on Tuesday (Apr 16).
Shafi also called the Muslims not to tie knot with people of the Ahmadiyyas community.
On Feb 13, Shafi also made the same demand at Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam, also known as Hathazari Madrasa, in Chittagong.
