Triasha paints the PM and dreams to be like her.Triasha from Tangail wants to grow up and serve the country like the PM. Her ideal is Sheikh Hasina and out of love, she wanted to present the PM a painting. After trying for two and a half months, she painted a picture of the PM and won the second prize in a painting competition for the National Primary Education medal ceremony 2018. She took the painting to Dhaka hoping to give it to the PM but was disheartened when the painting was not allowed at the programme.
At the programme, when her name was called, she informed the PM that her painting was not allowed and broke into tears. The PM immediately ordered her personal security to bring the painting and at the end of the event, Triasha handed over the work to the prime minister.
Triasha with her paintings.A happy Triasha is now back in her hometown in Tangail. Her father, Sankar Chandra Sarkar, is a businessman and mother, Taposhi Rani, is employed. A student of class five at Jobaida Government Primary School, Triasha always had a dream of presenting the painting to the PM.
The principal of her school, Momtaz Begum, says: “by winning the second spot at the National Primary Education Awards – 2018, she has brought honour for the school; she is also meritorious.”
