Five people has been killed and 20 others injured as a bus rammed an auto-rickshaw Lalmonirhat.
The incident was reported from Airkhamar of the district’s Sadar upazila on Monday (Feb 19), police said.
Details of the identities could not be known yet.
Sadar police OC Mahfuz Alam said, the accident took place when a Dhaka-bound bus of HImel Paribahan hit a auto-rickshaw in the area at around 9pm, leaving three people dead on the spot.

The injured have been admitted to different hospitals in Lalmonirhat and neighboring Kurigram district town and Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
Two of the injured succumbed to their injuries at the Kurigram hospital.
Police recovered the bodies from the spot and sent those to a local hospital morgue.
