Ferry services on Shimulia-Kathalbari route at Munshiganj’ Louhajong have been halted due to foggy weather.
Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) announced halting of ferry services at 6:00am on Monday.
“The ferry services have been kept suspended due to reduced visibility caused by dense fog,” Giasuddin Patowari, a manager at the Shimulia crossing told Bangla Tribune.
The services will resume once fog clears, he added.
