Police in Jhenaidah have apprehended a fugitive who is a convicted felon in a case filed under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.

The convict, Liton Munshi, 45, sentenced to three-year jail term, was arrested from his home in Ektarpur village of Kaliganj district, said Kaliganj Police OC Yunus Ali.

Liton has been a fugitive for a long time, the OC said before adding that he will be sent to prison through court.
