Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route in the Padma River were halted for about one and half hours due to foggy weather.

The ferry services were disrupted since 5:30am Tuesday, Mohiuddin Rasel, an assistant manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) at Paturia told Bangla Tribune.

At least eight ferries had to remain anchored in the mid-river, added the BIWTC official.
