Ruling MP Hasibur Rahman Swapan has been granted bail in a case which accuses him of forging signatures on land-related documents.
Sirajganj’s Senior Judicial Magistrate Habibur Rahman gave the order on Sunday.
The Sirajganj-6 MP’s counsel Bimal Kumar Das said that the court has issued a warrant against Shahjadpur Land Registry Office’s staffer Abdur Rashid in the case.
Court adjourned the case until Sep 9.
