No gas in parts of Dhaka for 8hrs on Monday

Representational imageGas supply will remain suspended in the adjoining areas of Dhaka airport on Monday (Jun 17) due to replacement of gas pipelines in an underpass project near the Shahid Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College and School.
The gas supply will remain cut off from 9am to 5pm on the day, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd said in a statement on Sunday (Jun 16).
No gas will be supplied to household, commercial, industrial and CNG refuelling stations connections area during this period, reads the statement.
The affected localities include Kawla, Civil Aviation Quarters areas, and nearby area of Dhaka airport while business establishments include Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden, Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort, Bangladesh Biman Catering, Kurmitola General Hospital, and Army Golf Club.
Low gas pressure will occur in Khilkhet and Nikunjo areas during this period, according to the statement.
