The government did not impose any tax or VAT on remittance, says tax chief Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan.
National Board of Revenue chairman Bhuiyan said, ”False information regarding tax or vat on remittance is spreading through facebook and social media.”
Subscribing the same view, senior information officer of the tax office Syed A Mumen told Bangla Tribune that one should not get confused with the false information disseminated through social media.
