Bangladesh Bank has issued a guideline for the National Payment Switch Bangladesh (NPSB) logo, aimed at increasing customer services.
The central bank in a circular on Monday said all the scheduled banks will have to display the logo in ATM Booths, POS Terminals, and Digital Displays within Jul 31 this year, reports BSS.
The banks will also have to use the logo in new proprietary cards from Aug 1 and take necessary actions to use the logo in old ones.
In case of branded cards, the banks should take necessary steps at the time of renewing the agreement with International Payment Scheme (IPS) for using the logo.
The logo will be used at the card’s bottom right-hand side.
