Md Masum Patwary has recently been promoted to executive director of Bangladesh Bank.
Prior to the promotion, he had been serving as general manager of the central bank’s Motojheel branch, said a BB statement on Saturday (Feb 16).
Patwary joined the central bank as an assistant director in 1988 after acquiring his Master of Science from Dhaka University.
