The jewellers’ forum has reversed their decision to raise the price of gold few hours after revising it up.

The latest move came in an emergency meeting held on Saturday (Dec 22) night, Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BAJUS) told the media in a press brief on Sunday (Dec 23).

Earlier on Saturday, BAJUS told a press briefing that they moved up the price as the price also went up in the international market.

However, in reversing the decision, BAJUS said, they have deceived to not increase the price considering requests from consumers and the upcoming Christmas and New Year of the Gregorian calendar.
