Bangladesh Bank has instructed banks to keep sufficient money in their ATM booths during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.
A circular was issued on that regard by the Central Bank’s Payment Systems Department on Sunday (Aug 19).
The circular includes a total of 13 directives aimed at ensuring smooth financial transactions through ATMs, Point of Sales (POS), e-Payment Gateways and Mobile Financial Services (MFS).
Banks were also instructed to take necessary steps so that the consumers don’t have to face any hassle while trying to do transactions in those manners.
