The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved 9 development projects at an estimated cost of Tk 30.88 billion.
The approval came at the 5th ECNEC meeting of the current fiscal year held in the National Economic Council (NEC) conference room in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area on Tuesday with ECNEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Briefing the reporters after the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said, “Tk 23.39 billion will come from the GoB portion while Tk 505.4 million from the organization’s own fund while the rest of Tk 6.97 billion from project assistance”.
